The total output value of the titanium and titanium alloy industry chain in Baoji will increase by 10% year-on-year in 2024

On April 14th, the reporter learned from the organizing committee of the 2025 Baoji Titanium Valley International Titanium Industry Expo that the production of titanium materials in the city's titanium and titanium alloy industry chain will reach 75000 tons in 2024, with a total output value of about 56 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of about 10%. As of now, there are 185 titanium enterprises above designated size in the city, forming a complete industrial chain covering various links from sponge titanium to titanium material processing, presenting a diversified development pattern of each showing their strengths and common prosperity.
In recent years, with the goal of building the "World Titanium Capital • China Titanium Valley" and constructing an international titanium industry cluster, our city has accurately issued the "Baoji Titanium and New Materials Industry Chain Enhancement Three Year Action Plan (2023-2025)" for industrial development, and deeply implemented the "six major projects" of leading enterprise growth, industry cluster aggregation, chain extension and strengthening, innovation capability enhancement, talent introduction and training, and service system optimization. The level of titanium industry foundation upgrading and industrial chain modernization has been greatly improved.
In 2024, 28 projects including Baotai Group's titanium resource recycling and casting capacity expansion project, Dalishen Phase II titanium alloy material rapid forging base project, and Shanghai Jingwei special electronic functional target material and sensor special material research and development and production project were successfully started and constructed. 17 new production capacity projects, including Guotai Metal, were put into operation and achieved results, and leading enterprises continued to grow; The High tech Zone has successively planned and constructed the Technology New City Titanium and New Materials Industrial Park, as well as the Titanium and New Materials Industrial Park Qing'anbao Park, with industrial clusters gathering and continuously improving carrying capacity. In addition, specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises such as Jucheng Titanium Industry and Fujite Titanium Industry are deeply rooted in the sub sectors of non-ferrous metal equipment manufacturing and material processing. With their "no one has it" strategy, they continue to provide high-quality titanium products, forming differentiated competitive advantages and promoting the diversified development of the titanium industry.
At present, our city has established a complete industrial chain from "sponge titanium - titanium ingot - titanium and titanium alloy processing materials - titanium composite materials - titanium deep processing products", capable of producing more than 100 grades, 300 varieties, and 5000 specifications of titanium and titanium alloy processing materials, which are exported to more than 70 countries and regions.
