Specification parameters and testing methods of titanium flanges

1. Titanium flange

Titanium flange is a component made of non-ferrous metal titanium or titanium alloy that connects pipes to each other, connected to the pipe end.

There are holes on the titanium flange, and bolts make the two flanges tightly connected. Seal the flanges with gaskets. A flange fitting refers to a fitting with a flange (flange or adapter).

It can be composed of threaded connections or welding. The flange connection consists of a pair of flanges, a gasket, and several bolts and nuts. The gasket is placed between the two flange sealing surfaces. After tightening the nut, the specific pressure on the gasket surface reaches a certain value, causing deformation and filling the uneven areas on the sealing surface to ensure a tight connection without leakage.

According to structural types, there are integral titanium flanges, butt welded titanium flanges, looped titanium flanges, and threaded titanium flanges.
