Pipeline cutting and groove processing; Pipe cutting and groove processing should be carried out using mechanical processing methods in specialized workplaces. During processing, clean water should be used as a non polluting medium for cooling to prevent oxidation. Processing tools should be specialized and kept clean to prevent iron contamination. The processed pipe mouth should ensure a smooth surface without defects such as cracks and double skin. The maximum inclination deviation of the incision plane shall not exceed 1% of the pipe diameter.
Surface cleaning: Use an austenitic stainless steel wire brush to remove rust, paint, dirt, dust, and debris that can react with titanium material from all welding surfaces and within 100mm of the groove of the titanium plate. Use a grinding wheel to trim the machining surface and remove defects such as burrs, burrs, and bumps.
Pairing: Align and clamp the titanium tube and accessories, ensure that the axis is not offset, the gap is uniform and consistent, and prevent damage and contamination of the titanium tube during assembly. Avoid mandatory pairing. Positioning welding adopts the same welding process as formal welding.
Degreasing treatment: Use celluloid sponge dipped in sulfur-free ethanol or acetone to degrease all welding surfaces and grooves within 50mm. The treated surface should have no residue.
Titanium plate and titanium tube welding equipment:
Welding machine: DC TiG welding machine is used. Welding machines should ensure excellent working and regulating characteristics, and be equipped with intact ammeters and voltmeters.
Welding Torch: QS-75 °/500 water-cooled TiG welding torch is used. The welding torch should have the characteristics of simple structure, lightweight and durable, tight gun body, good insulation, stable airflow, firm tungsten clamp, and suitable for welding in various positions.
Argon gas delivery pipe; Using semi rigid plastic pipes, it is not advisable to use rubber hoses and other moisture absorbing materials. It should be used exclusively and should not be used in series with pipes for transporting other gases. The argon trachea should not be too long to avoid excessive pressure drop and unstable airflow, generally not exceeding 30 meters.
Welding fixture: Assemble titanium plates and accessories with austenitic stainless steel or copper pipe clamps, locking bolts, etc. It should be ensured that there is a certain clamping force on the titanium plate and accessories to ensure that the axis is consistent and the gap is uniform and appropriate.
Auxiliary equipment and tools: argon protective cover, polishing machine, specialized file, stainless steel wire brush, etc.
