Through the implementation of capacity expansion projects, the advancement of intelligent transformation and digital transformation, the transformation of energy-saving and carbon reduction achievements, and the application and promotion of new technologies and processes, a new green chapter of sustainable and high-quality development has been opened. Through continuous technological transformation and progress, multiple products and core technologies have filled the domestic gap, significantly promoting the green development and technological level of the titanium industry. Accelerating the strategic adjustment of the product layout structure of "controlling the upstream, strengthening the midstream, and expanding the downstream", the successful launch of the C919 large aircraft, the successful launch of the CZ5 high thrust rocket, and the development of the domestically produced 4500 meter manned deep-sea vehicle reflect the hard work, wisdom, and innovation of the Baotai people. Implement energy-saving, emission reduction, safety and environmental protection goals, completely dismantle coal-fired boilers in use, and replace them with clean energy sources such as waste heat utilization and natural gas for heating, and carry out low nitrogen combustion transformation on gas boilers in use. Adhere to the environmental protection laws of "civilized production, clean production, and green development", pay attention to the construction of environmental protection equipment, increase investment in green and energy-saving technologies, and titanium residue recycling technology and production lines represent the advanced level of green production of titanium materials in the world today. Continuously increasing investment in environmental protection, strengthening efforts in energy conservation and environmental protection renovation, carrying out anti-corrosion engineering renovation on the old pickling line of the sheet metal factory, completing the equipment renovation of gas boilers with ultra-low emissions, ensuring the effective operation of environmental protection equipment and the standard discharge of wastewater and exhaust gas. Actively carry out promotional activities such as World Water Day, China Water Week, National Energy Conservation Awareness Week, and National Low Carbon Day. In recent years, the company has actively carried out clean production, energy conservation and consumption reduction work, achieving many significant results, and has been awarded the title of Advanced Enterprise in Energy Conservation and Consumption Reduction by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government multiple times. After years of development, for residues that cannot be directly recycled, the production of titanium iron is adopted to turn waste into treasure and use it as a titanium containing steel additive; We have established a complete internal management system and standardized system for the collection, storage, treatment, quality control, and process control of residual waste. In terms of green recycling technology for titanium materials, we have also made breakthroughs in a series of technologies such as recycling of returned materials and designing new titanium alloy compositions; We have built a professional and internationally advanced production line for the recovery and treatment of recycled materials, achieving the recycling of more than 10 types of titanium alloys such as pure titanium and TC4. We have successfully developed more than ten types of titanium alloys with different strength levels for added recycled furnace materials, which have been successfully applied in China's weapons and other fields. This has effectively promoted the green, healthy, and recyclable development of China's titanium industry. Actively implementing the renovation project of the titanium and titanium alloy pipe oil removal and acid washing production line, treating and recovering waste acid, oily wastewater, acid containing wastewater, and nitrogen oxides generated during the production process, and treating residual liquids that cannot be recovered to meet corresponding national standards, fundamentally solving the problem of comprehensive treatment of "three wastes" and achieving the goal of circular economy and green development. Accelerate energy transformation Assist in improving the efficiency of "dual carbon" Baotai Group aims to deeply implement the requirements of the central and Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Government on carbon peak and carbon neutrality, improve the deployment capacity of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, strive to optimize the company's titanium industry and energy structure, and promote the utilization of clean energy. In 2019, a comprehensive utilization project of heating waste heat in a district was invested and constructed, which utilizes heat pump technology to recover the cooling water heat of the smelting furnace for heating in production and office areas, replacing the original coal-fired steam boiler heating mode. The company actively and orderly develops distributed photovoltaic power stations according to local conditions, improving the grid's ability to absorb and regulate green energy. In 2021, a 12MW photovoltaic power generation project was implemented on the roof of an industrial park, which has been successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The annual power generation is over 10 million kilowatt hours, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 7850 tons, achieving 100% use of clean energy, and achieving zero carbon emissions. In order to actively respond to the requirements of ecological environment governance, clean energy is used instead of coal, and water source heat pump technology is adopted to recover the waste heat of the newly added casting furnace, which is successfully integrated into the production area heat network. Two 14MW coal-fired boilers in the industrial park are shut down, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 19000 tons. This not only reduces carbon emissions, but also improves heating quality, reduces carbon dioxide emissions by about 17000 tons, and enhances the "dual carbon" efficiency. Increase technological innovation efforts Enhancing the application effect of low-carbon technology For many years, Baotai Group has been practicing the "dual carbon" goal, strengthening green ecology, improving the level of intelligent manufacturing, following the development path of green recycling in titanium processing, and developing cutting-edge fields such as high-performance hydrogen fuel cells. The company has overcome multiple key technological challenges through continuous innovation and independent research and development, with multiple technologies filling international/domestic gaps. The developed titanium alloy manned submersible has filled many gaps in China, ending the dependence on imports for the manned spherical shells of deep submersibles in China, and the technology has reached the international advanced level; The mandatory national standard "Energy Consumption Quota for Sponge Titanium and Titanium Ingots per Unit Product" formulated under the leadership of the company has won the "Excellent Technical Standard Award" of the National Nonferrous Metals Standardization Technical Committee. This is the promotion and application of green, low-carbon, and energy-saving process technology equipment. The quality of the high-quality titanium strip developed and produced has reached the international advanced level. Based on the excellent specific strength and corrosion resistance of titanium, it greatly improves the application of hydrogen fuel cells. For the first time, it is used as a "hydrogen Teng" hydrogen fuel cell bipolar plate independently developed by State Power Investment Corporation, meeting the power needs of automobiles. In 2021, it was demonstrated and applied at the Boao Forum for Asia; In February 2022, more than 150 hydrogen powered buses carrying the "Hydrogen Teng" fuel cell system were deployed as designated buses for the Beijing Winter Olympics, participating in Winter Olympics support services, demonstrating China's titanium's * and clean new energy utilization technology strength in the field of new energy utilization. Baotai Group has carried out carbon footprint certification for titanium and titanium alloy bars throughout their entire life cycle, significantly improving the efficiency of various links such as procurement, process, production, and testing of titanium processing products.
